Prior approval has been granted for the conversion of a Chicken Shed in East Dorset to residential. This was a complex application due to the condition of the existing building and the fact that the regulations facilitating such a change are relatively new. During the process the regulations changed, there were conflicting appeal decisions in relation to similar applications and new guidance which further confused matters. Ken successfully negotiated all of these hurdles presenting the correct arguments and evidence base to secure a permission for a 450m2 dwelling which includes an annexe.
