Ken Parke Planning Consultants has secured a successful outcome on a site in Bournemouth near to the seafront. The application site comprises a single dwelling on a large plot where a previous developer had sought to develop a block of flats that failed at appeal. Our Client obtained the site with a view to providing quality family homes that would reflect the sub-urban character of the street. Pre-application discussions with Bournemouth Council established the quantum of development and with the assistance of Etchingham Morris Architects, a scheme for a pair of 2.5 storey semi-detached dwellings and a single 2.5 storey detached dwelling evolved. Despite an objection from a neighbour planning permission was secured within 8 weeks of submitting the application.
