KPPC supported a proposal for an Arts and Crafts style block of 8 flats in Ferndown. The site had a history of refused applications and the proposals were strongly opposed by Ferndown Town Council and local residents. Ken attended the Planning Board meeting and advised Councillors that the character of the road is evolving and the best way to deliver appropriate development in keeping with the area’s special character is to provide well-designed and well-proportioned blocks of flats which reflect historic residential styles and which have the appearance of grand single dwelling houses. The Councillors agreed and planning permission was granted.
