Ken has secured 5 separate permissions for the redevelopment of the Stratton House Campus in Dorchester. The extensive site was the former offices of West Dorset District Council. The campus included many listed buildings and a modern office block which were proposed for conversion mostly for residential along with new build opportunities for residential. The redevelopment process was fairly complex however we were able to secure all permissions by way of liaison and negotiation with the council. The total redevelopment has resulted in a total of 42 dwellings. Careful handling of the application ensured that there were no affordable housing contributions either on or off site. The proposals will bring the campus which has stood empty now for several years back into beneficial use.
