Appeal win with full costs for Wessex Water – KPPC has obtained outline planning permission for 12 dwellings on the site of a redundant reservoir in Bridgwater. The council accepted the principle of residential development but refused on matters of detail which were not before them for consideration. We were able to demonstrate that the proposals were in broad conformity with densities within the area and that a form of development could be accommodated without causing harm. Full costs were awarded against the council for an unreasonable refusal.
