STEVE LLEWELLYN

Senior Associate Planner BSC (Hons) DipUP MRTPI

Steve is a Chartered Town Planner with 29 years’ experience in local government in various development management roles in both urban and rural environments, most recently as a team leader for one of the largest and busiest urban local authorities in the country.

He holds a BSc (Honours) degree in Urban Studies from the University of North London, now London Metropolitan University, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Urban Planning from Oxford Brookes University.

Steve is a Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (MRTPI) whose experience includes management of numerous strategic allocation sites and significant major and complex planning applications.

Steve’s successes are based on establishing and maintaining credible and effective working relationships and collaborative working with clients, technical consultants, statutory agencies, local authority officers and  communities – finding solutions and implementing effective negotiation to deliver high-quality developments and successful place shaping.

Steve is a dedicated, approachable and enthusiastic professional with a strong work ethic and positive attitude who is well organised and methodical with excellent analytical, communication, negotiating and presentation skills.

Outside of work, he is a keen football fan and has been a longstanding coach of a girls’ team.
