Ken Parke Planning Consultants (KPPC) has strengthened its team with the appointment of an experienced town planner.
We have welcomed Jenny James as an Associate Planning Consultant as demand continues to grow for our services. Jenny brings experience from the public and private sectors to her role.
Chief Executive Officer Ken Parke, who founded KPPC with Chief Financial Officer Angela in 2003, said: “Jenny is an experienced and richly talented planning professional.
“She is a valuable member of our team who has fitted in very well and her appointment will allow us to step up our strategic growth plans in the south and further afield.
“We look forward to seeing Jenny develop her career with KPPC and contribute to the future success of the company as we continue to support our clients across a range of planning sectors with a focus upon the commercial and residential markets.”
Jenny is an experienced Town Planner working towards her Chartered status with the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI). She holds a Bachelor of Design (Hons) degree in Industrial Design from Massey University in Wellington, New Zealand, and a MA in Planning Policy and Practice from London South Bank University.
She has worked for local authorities in London and the South East in planning roles as well as for a residential developer in the private sector.
Jenny, who lives in Bournemouth with her husband and their two children, said: “KPPC is a great company where everyone has made me feel very welcome.
“There is a supportive culture and incredible depth of depth of experience and professionalism across the whole team which has allowed me to settle in easily.
“I enjoy working in the private sector because of the creativity it allows, especially at KPPC where there are a wide range of projects from major developments through to smaller schemes to become involved in.”
When not at work, Jenny enjoys paddleboarding and camping as well as exploring the local area with her family.
Jenny, who previously lived in London, added: “Working in Dorset at KPPC allows us to have a wonderful lifestyle with beaches, the countryside of the New Forest and rich culture on our doorstep.”
KPPC serves clients across the south and nationwide, including property developers, land owners, affordable housing providers, pension fund managers, private individuals, householders and businesses.
We are seeking further qualified RTPI chartered planners, preferably with at least two years of private practice experience. Please contact us for more information and no-obligation discussion.
